Course Information - Paint Seascapes, Estuaries and Harbours
– Host: Ray Balkwill
Each course will comprise five nights DB&B and four
full days of painting. Tuition is on a personal level with students
being helped to progress in their chosen medium. The course will
also include demonstrations, talks and critiques. These are practical
painting courses in which students will be encouraged to sketch
and paint on location as much as possible. Set in a stunning position
on the coast, the Mullion Cove Hotel offers a variety of exciting
painting locations nearby. These will include Mullion Cove, Cadgwith,
Kynance Cove, Porthleven and the creeks around the Helford Estuary.
Courses start on the Sunday evening at 6.30 with a welcome drinks
reception and students depart after breakfast on the Friday. Students
will need to bring their own painting materials, further details
about the course as well as what to bring will be sent out nearer
to the course date. Please note: The courses are not suitable for
beginners. Non-painting partners are most welcome.
